Toddler Program
14 student max per room
Our toddler childcare programs are designed to care for children 18 months through age 3. This classroom offers a vast array of hands-on-activities that allows children to explore, foster imaginations, and discover solutions first hand. We work on language development in this room. We also work on social and emotional skills. We currently dedicate 1 teacher per every 7 students. Parents will receive daily communication about the child's day, development, lessons, and photos through our Tadpole App.

Lesson plans will meet each child's development needs. We will create individual portfolios as we begin to track developmental milestones. We will begin to build upon language development and vocabulary skills. There are developmentally appropriate learning centers throughout the room.
Toddlers will have the opportunity to explore art, music, literacy, blocks, science, dramatic play, and soft areas for crawling and climbing. Social interaction is a key component in this room. Children learn to become aware of the world around them by learning to share and interact with others in a group setting. Potty training is also introduced in this room if the child becomes interested.
Teachers will keep you informed through Hilltop's Tadpole App about your child's day, activities, potty training, nap time, habits, and advancements. The safe, loving, and nurturing environment provided at the center will enable your toddler to develop language skills, self-esteem, and a sense of independence.
