Passionate, dedicated, and loving, Hilltop Early Childhood Enrichment Center teachers love their work and it shows in everything they do. Our goal is to make a positive difference on young kids who come through our doors.
Vicki Amburgy
Director
Experience: 29+ years in Early Childhood Education. Vicki has been the owner operator and administrator of two childcare center in the last 20 years. Previous experience before becoming an owner was at a non-profit organization managing multiple childcare sites. With this role she gathered the importance of community and compassion for families. She has created a positive quality program to serve families in the communities in which her centers are located.
Education: Completed a bachelor’s degree in Art Education from Miami University. She also completed business classes at NKU in preparation for ownership of an early childhood center.
Alondra Rivera
Gathering Place PreK: Lead Teacher
Alondra comes to Hilltop with 2 years of childcare experience working with preschool students. She loves teaching children and setting Hilltops PreK students up for kindergarten success.
Education: Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Miami University.
Ruth Cowgill
Infant Class: Assistant Teacher
Experience: Ruth has 19 years of childcare experience. Ruth as been with Hilltop for 4 years. Ruth completed her CDA January 2021. Ruth's has a true passion for teaching children of all ages. She is very nurturing and attentive with the babies. We are blessed to have her as apart of Hilltop's teaching team. We appreciate her dedication to Early Childhood Education. Ruth helps open the center daily with perfect attendance!
Education: High School diploma and CDA from Cincinnati State.
Becky Reams
Busy Bees Toddlers: Lead teacher
Experience: Becky has been in childcare for 3 years and has been employed with Hilltop for over a year. Her main role has been a lead teacher for toddlers. Becky has 3 children ranging from a 7th grader to a toddler. Becky brings lots of mommy experience to the center. She does an exceptional job with toddlers. Becky keeps the children involved and excited in this room with all the great ideas and activities she does daily.
Education: High School graduate. Associates Degree from Sinclair College
Katie Mullins
Assistant Director / Infant Lead Teacher
Experience: Katie has 14 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Katie has her CDA. Katie has worked for Hilltop for 8 years and for the current owner for over 16 years. Katie is able to work with any age group. Katie also assist in the office and with managing Hilltop's staff.
Education: Katie recently renewed her Child Development Associate accredited through the CDA council.
Ashely Sorrell
Lead Teacher Preschool 3-4 yrs old
Experience: Ashely worked for Hilltop for 2 years back in 2016 in our toddler room and rejoined Hilltops teaching team in 2022. Ashley has her CDA which is specialized in Infants and Toddlers. Ashely has been working in childcare the past 8 years. Ashely is committed to the program and the children she cares for. She is doing a great job setting the preschoolers up for success as they approach kindergarten. Ashley has 4 children of her own. We are glad to have her as apart of Hilltops teaching team!
Education: High School diploma and a CDA from Cincinnati State.
Lindsey Hoff
Assistant Teacher / floater for Hilltop's programs.
Experience: Lindsey has worked in childcare for 6 years and has been employed with Hilltop for the past 3 years. Lindsey is great with all age groups. She fills in any where and everywhere we need her. She has strong communication skills and has a lot of initiative with the classrooms. She demonstrates strong leadership skills which is a great asset! We appreciate her being apart of Hilltops teaching team. Lindsey become a mommy to her son Cruise in November 2022. He too attends Hilltop.
Education: High School diploma. Lindsey has an Associates Degree in Education Health and Society. She is a senior at Miami University and will have her bachelors degree in Business spring of 2024 from Miami as well.
Jalah Amburgy
School Age: Assistant Teacher / Cook
Experience: Jalah has grown up in and around the family business for the past 23 years. Jalah helps meet and greet parents every morning and assist with parent drop offs. Jalah also supervises Hilltops before school program. Jalah also cooks for the center preparing the morning breakfast, lunch and pm snacks daily. When Jalah is not working at Hilltop, she is a licensed Cosmetologist.
Education: She graduated with her high school diploma and is a licensed cosmetologist.
Kalah Amburgy
Administrative Assistant / floater
Kalah has grown up with the family's childcare businesses for 23 years. She has helped out in all classrooms and is very knowledgeable regarding Early Childhood Development, classroom management and has solid supervision skills. Kalah attend and graduated from the Warren County Career Center Early Childhood Education program in 2017. Kalah graduated from Miami University in 2021 with a degree in Business.
Kayla Hutson
Assistant Toddler Teacher
Kayla is new to childcare. However, you would never know that seeing her performance in the classroom. She is very passionate about childcare and brings a lot of initiative and warmth to our preschool classroom. Kayla has started taking her CDA course with Cincinnati State with the goal to have this course completed by Spring of 2024.

Lacie Lykins
Floater
With a passion for children and a nurturing personality, Lacie makes a perfect fit with Hilltops teaching team. Lacie has two young children so she understands the compassion and patients its takes to work with young children. Lacie is new to childcare, and has fallen in love with the children and this work environment. Lacie works hard and it shows within the center. Lacie will begin working towards completing the CDA course through Cincinnati State in the winter of 2024.

Amanda Reardon
After School and Summer School age teacher
Amanda is a Paraprofessional with Middletown City Schools. When she is done working for the day, Amanda hustles over to Hilltop and supervises Hilltop's after school program. During the summer months, Amanda is the lead teacher for our summer school age program. Amanda has strong work ethics and is does a great job supervising and interacting with the children of this program. Amanda has 3 children. Amanda has worked for Hilltop for 4 years.
Education: High School diploma & Associate of Science Pre- Early Childhood Education from Cincinnati State
