Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten

Through the Creative Curriculum, our preschool program aligns to the Ohio Department of Education's Content Standards. Our teachers will facilitate meaningful interactions and activities to meet the developing child's social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth. The classroom is designed with a variety of centers for the children to play and interact in as the teacher facilitates the play. Our preschool classes are designed to get the child ready for kindergarten.

Developmentally appropriate activities in preschool are selected on the premises children learn through play and interaction with their peers. Weekly lesson plans are theme based. The value of playtime should not be under estimated in the preschool learning environment. Our teachers understand as children work and play in well-designed learning centers, they learn to make good choices because there is a purpose in play. Our preschool teachers will keep you informed about your child's day through our Tadpole App regarding development, daily activities, eating habits, photos and more.

Our program consists of child-directed learning, literacy and writing activities, rhyming, sequence, sorting, music, creative art, large & small group activities, science, math, and planned outdoor activities for physical development. We will track individual developmental milestones and keep a portfolio to share during parent teacher conferences. The goal of this program is to ensure that each child is set up for success and is kindergarten ready.
